Since its foundation in 2001, the Budapest Metropolitan University (METU) has been conducting increasingly intensive international activities and has set itself the goal of making the international learning and working environment and the opportunity to gain international experience natural for its students and staff within a short period of time. The Erasmus+ program plays a significant role in achieving the goals of the international strategy, so we were able to rely heavily on it during the duration of the project. During the project period, our goal was to increase the number of students participating in the program, as well as to bring the number of outgoing and incoming students closer to each other, in which there is still a small difference in favor of incoming students. METU's courses are practice-oriented, so the goal was also to popularize traineeship among students as a good, subsidized opportunity at the beginning of a professional career. In terms of faculty and staff mobility, the staff mobility numbers were always higher, so we wanted to encourage more teaching mobility. Regarding partnerships, our goal was to conclude contracts for similar numbers of realised outgoing and incoming mobilities.
