Our aim has been to broaden students’ scientific horizons, develop their global outlook and learn about good practices. Mobility adds value, encourages participants to become actively involved in the life of their host university and city, to think more openly and to bring back home their experiences and broaden their professional contacts. Teacher and staff mobility helps to strengthen the European institutional network of partners and to develop concrete professional partnerships. Erasmus students are increasingly returning to the Doctoral School and to our other English-language courses, which is a benefit for the University. Teaching and staff mobility is also an additional way of learning about teaching methods. During this period, the targeted preparation of outgoing teachers and staff and the effective reception of incoming staff have been a priority. New staff started working in the Erasmus field and their participation in mobility forums became a tool for their training. The promotion of the new BIPs (blended intensive programs) aims to create innovative learning environments, combining face-to-face and online components, with the aim of creating sustainable short courses beyond Erasmus in different subject areas.
