The project period started on 1 September 2021. At that time, there was still plenty of funding available from the 2020 project. For a student leaving in autumn 2021, the mobility was funded from the 2020 project. The 2022 project started on 1 June 2022 and students are eligible for a higher monthly grant. Student mobility from the 2021 project was only funded if it could not be funded from the 2022 project. The objective at the beginning of the project period was to make the best use of the available financial envelope by increasing mobility. This was not achieved for student mobility for the reasons mentioned above. In December 2022, the University offered back most of the project budget, as agreed with the Tempus Public Foundation. We also wanted to make the best possible use of the provision for staff mobility. We wanted to expand our partnerships and strengthen existing ones.
