Objectives

The project evaluated in this report highly contributed to reaching the goals set in our 2021-2027 Erasmus Charter for Higher Education proposal such as, improving our institution’s internationalization process and global recognition. The main objective of our strategy was to increase the mobility numbers of students, academic- and non-academic staff in the 2020-2023 period, contributing to the development of key competences of our students, enhancing quality and innovation in educational activities, and improving the language competences of our staff. The figures show that we made relevant use of the quotas allocated for the programme's staffing for outgoing mobility. The international recognition of BME is reflected in the fact that its Erasmus partners include major institutions that are among the best universities in the world. BME and the large number of English-language study programs are very popular among incoming students, this is why there were 648 incoming students throughout the three semesters of the project, while the number of outgoing students was 254.
