The University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest (UVMB) is the only institution in Hungary that provides veterinary education, closer professional education has always been possible only with foreign universities. Thus our University’s international connections have been strong since its foundation. Our university mainly only can deepen and stabilize the connections within our partner University network with the help of the Erasmus+ Programme. The UVMB’s goal for internationalization is to provide a competitive, flexible, high standard qualification on an international level as well and to prepare our students to be able to successfully function and compete in a knowledge based society. The University’s goal for the future to excel our training methods, furthermore providing a good example among other Veterinary Medicine institutions. We acknowledge that our international partnerships with other EU Veterinary Medicine institutions are strong and mutual. Our aim is to train intellectuals with European thinking that are open to different disciplines, cultures and societies, they are able to express mature opinion on matters of life. The UVMB grants educational freedom to their students by providing multiple course selecting courses.
