Humankind's existence has brought our world borders, conflicts and wars, and pollution due to excessive consumption of technological development. The only planet in the whole universe we can call “HOME” is confronting love deficiency. In his “What Every Person Should Know About War” book, Chris Hedges estimated that wars have caused a death toll of up to 1 billion people since the beginning of human history. Sometimes we also close our eyes to the damage to the lives of other animals we coexist on Earth. Continuous greedy mining of raw materials and massive industrial production combined with the hostile behaviour of political powers can only result in unpleasant consequences for both people and the environment. Modern climate change and pollution issues are some of the obvious examples of our harmful impacts. Three fast-growing and dangerous forms of environmental pollution are air, water, and soil pollution. The World Health Organization (WHO) has classified pollution as a main or secondary cause of diabetes, obesity, systemic inflammation, Alzheimer’s, dementia, and cancer. We wanted to use interactive learning methods to promote empathy toward other living beings, to increase recycling, and through the acting skills of our participants to revive the imbalanced ecology. The general purpose of the “Script Action for Future Earth” (SAFE) project was to draw attention to the causes of environmental problems, particularly, the human impacts on the ecological system throughout history. The specific objectives of the project SAFE were the following: -Informing young people about the main reasons and historical figures for different pollution types (water, air, soil, noise); -Developing theatrical abilities and research skills; -Explaining the human factor in the changing Earth balance; -Improving their environmental awareness and empathy; -Supporting young people's problem-solving and project development skills; -Engaging participants in constructive ecology protection. Our participants got the motivation to constructively criticise both themselves and others' conduct towards the topic. The Erasmus+ priorities of initiative and critical thinking were supported by the "Script Action for Future Earth" project. Our participants advanced in the preservation of the environment, intercultural communication, active citizenship, and collaboration with young people with fewer possibilities. Through this approach, our initiative met the specific goals of the Erasmus+ program in the field of youth.
