This project was our first collaboration on an organisational level with the two Partner Organisations. All of the three participating organisations work within the field of non-formal art education and art and culture mediation, with a special focus on art and science. On an organisational level, our goal was to share skills and knowledge of the staff and volunteers of the organisation through implementing this Youth Exchange. On the other hand, we were aiming to create a platform for young people where they can develop their skills and competences in the field of their interest (art and/or science and/or technology), try themselves out in a multinational environment, expand their professional network, and to learn to apply their competences in a socially engaged way (that is to say, become active citizens with the tools of their interests). Our main focus was fighting digital illiteracy, and to promote inclusivity in a rather exclusive field of education/profession. At the time of writing the application, we also wanted to address the topic of neurodiversity (as all of the participating organisations work with neurodiverse young adults and adults), but taking into consideration the evaluation we received, we decided to not to include that topic in this specific project.
