The participating organizations focused on the students, the local communities about the importance of water and reminded them that for the future we all need it to survive. To reach objectives, students took part in the activities related to the project. They created posters, PPTs, films about local water supplies, they explored the places where different kinds of water sports activities could be done in the nearby area, they made surveys and questionnaires to their neighborhood community. The students were engaged in setting campaigns in their neighborhoods to increase people's cognizance of the importance of the usage of the water in an irresponsible way. They made leaflets, cards and more. Teachers and students together became aware of the incompetent usage of water in their communities and schools in order to locate options for creating their school water. During the exchanges, they learnt about water during the lessons, took part in physical activities (eg water sports), they had workshops.
TThe motif of the project was to encourage a global partnership, therefore 3 schools from Hungary, Serbia and Turkey established the partnership. We determined the objectives together. The main aim was to raise awareness in connection with climate change and turn our ideas into actions. We wanted to have an effect on our future related to water consumption. We wanted to increase the interest in science, cultural differences, and creativity. We wanted to strengthen the knowledge of English and other languages too (Hungarian, Serbian and Turkish). We wanted to stand as a good example and set-up more Water Friendly Schools all over Europe. The LTTAs were organized according to these needs. LTTA3, LTTA4, LTTA5 were face to face student exchange meetings. LTTA1, LTTA2 were virtual exchange meetings.
