With the implementation of the project, our goal was to initiate a mindset shift in vocational economic education, shifting the focus from frontal teaching to non-formal education. We aimed to support vocational economic education with project-based methods, enabling instructors to employ techniques that enhance students' entrepreneurial competencies. Digital platforms provide opportunities for students to gain interactive and hands-on experiences, thereby increasing the efficiency and relevance of the educational process. The development of training plans aimed to adapt to the challenges of the labour market, enabling participants to successfully enter and thrive in a competitive employment environment. In addition to enhancing their professional knowledge, participants also develop their soft skills competencies.
We wanted to be pioneers in the reform of economic education with the project, implementing new methods that harness the opportunities offered by digitalisation. We incorporated platforms and business management software into the training plans, which also employ cooperative techniques, allowing us to respond more flexibly to the fast-changing trends and dynamics of the business world. By enabling vocational students to stay up-to-date in the field of economics and become competitive in the labour market. With the project, our aim was to integrate methods into economic education that meet the labor market demands of local companies. Through the acquisition of best practices, we aimed to enhance our competitiveness in the vocational training market, increase the number of students entering vocational education, and reduce dropout rates.
