Please note: all relevant evaluation of our material (online modules and app) have been uploaded onto the shared drive by the NA.

Background

Based on the views from the target groups and our results of the pre-application needs analysis there is a necessity for staff to be more competitive on the market by being better trained (and the online products of this project will facilitate their training) is more important than ever. Businesses in the Hospitality sector needs every help they can get in order to stay competitive. Using our material (online training modules and app) will support them in achieving this goal. This project assessed the intercultural competences of the hospitality managers and employees, and created a training methodology using critical intercultural incidents derived from the everyday work engagement. These incidents were used to create three prototypes for each of the following hotel departments: Front Desk, Food and Beverage, Housekeeping and Management. The prototypes included localised and contextualised content in order to fit to the realities of each partner country and making use of the European dimension of this partnership. Animated dialogues and 360 degrees photos were created in order to make the delivery of intercultural education more effective.
