During the project spanning academic years 2021/22 and 2022/23, it was the goal of the institution to reignite interest and passion for Erasmus+ amongst staff and students alike following the difficult peak of the COVID pandemic, which made physical mobilities less achievable. We wanted our stakeholders to build on previously established relationships, and revisit old colleagues, as well as look to the future and forge new relationships and links. It was also our hope to participate in a new kind of project, a Blended Intensive Programme - this was particularly of interest as a way of making Erasmus+ mobilities more accessible, as often the cost of accommodation over a long stay can be a barrier to mobility for students. Through a BIP, students are able to experience the beneficial nature of a mobility in short intense burst, and still come away with incredible benefit. It was our goal to promote BIPs to our students, as well as staff, for this reason.
