The objectives for the Institute in participating in the KA131 - 2021 Call were: • To promote Staff and Student participation in the Erasmus+ programme; • To develop strategic partnerships as a mechanism to promote intensive mobility opportunities to students and staff; • To promote digital competence among students and staff through the deployment of digital tools contained within the KA131 programme including the creation of online learning agreements, use of Erasmus without Paper Dashboard and use of the Beneficiary Module • To achieve the Institute’s Internationalisation strategic objective as outlined in its Strategic Plan (2020 - 2023): • To enhance and widen the learner experience and global awareness by sustained development of inbound and outbound internationalisation. The Institute's Internationalisation agenda seeks to produce graduates who are inter-culturally aware, job-ready and internationally engaged, as outlined in its Strategic Plan 2020 - 2023. Sustained engagement and development of new international collaborations with higher education institutions and host enterprises through Erasmus KA131 programme assists with realising this objective.
