Background

EUREK(CH)A!- EURopEan vEt mobility to improvE innovativE profEssional sKills in mECHAnic, ElECtroniC, CHemicAl and iCt sector" (No. 2021-1-IT01-KA122-VET-000016244) is a transnational mobility project promoted, under the Erasmus program, by the "Carlo Beretta" High School, which lasted a total of 18 months (from 30/12/2021 to 29/06/2023) instead of the initially planned 12. "EUREK(CH)A!" involved 31 students from classes III° and IV° and 8 accompanying teachers (4 per destination, 2 every 15 days). One more mobility grant was, therefore, allocated than the initially planned 30. The learners were sent for 30 days (+ 2 of travel) to Ireland and Belgium, as leading countries in the transversal use of ICT in the economic field, where they carried out professionalizing internships at companies not only in the sector they are studying for, because the overall objective pursued by the School through "EUREK(CH)A!" was to enhance the skills of its students in order to raise their levels of academic success and facilitate their transition to the labor market as well as, at the same time, to internationalize, strengthen and innovate the proposed Educational Offer.
