The main objective of the project was to enhance the skills of students and school staff to help them secure employment and increase their awareness of important issues such as environmental sustainability and inclusion. Specifically, the project focused on improving inclusive teaching methodologies, developing the school staff's proficiency in digitization, sustainability, and internationalization. For the students, it aimed to increase guidance activities to facilitate the selection of study paths or job placements for new graduates.
The project took place at Istituto di Istruzione Superiore G. Bruno, located in Madonna Alta (Perugia), and involved pupils between the ages of 14 and 19 who attend the linguistic and scientific applied sciences lyceums, as well as the technical subjects of 'Chemistry, Materials and Biotechnology' and 'Fashion System' in the technical school. The institute is attended by students from diverse economic, social, and educational backgrounds. Over the years, the institute has distinguished itself for its focus on sharing skills and exchanging best practices, which has led to participation in several KA1 projects supported by the Umbria Region aimed at improving its students' professional skills through internships abroad. The project aims to develop awareness of environmental sustainability issues, improve active participation in school life, encourage the sharing of experiences and comparisons between pupils from different countries and cultures, and promote inclusion. Regarding the teachers, the focus was on equipping them with new skills and toolboxes on the latest technologies and innovative teaching methodologies, touching on pedagogical issues, to help students learn more effectively and adapt to the demands of the job market
