The objectives of the projects: -Improve technical-professional and soft skills related to the tourism and hospitality sector, in particular in the Green Sector; -Improve language skills and acquire intercultural awareness to improve social interaction; - Strengthen the work-related learning experience from an international perspective and experiment the ECVET European tools for the recognition and validation of skills
WELCOME: Work-based competencies for green skills and jobs in Europe project is addressed to 29 students in initial vocational and technical training, from the "De Cecco" Hotel and Tourist Secondary Institute of Pescara, in the Abruzzo Region. At school, the preparation aims at transferring technical and professional competences with particular attention to microlanguage. However, these competences often do not meet the requirements of the labour market as they are acquired mainly from a theoretical point of view rather than a practical one. For these reasons, the project has been an opportunity of integration of the scholastic preparation because the theoretical knowledge have been implemented in an international working environment.
