Objectives

The project allowed to respond to specific needs that ITTL "Nautico San Giorgio" is currently facing: 1) Invest in technology and digital resources 2) Boosting language competences of the students 3) Being in touch with the a foreing maritime industry and business scenario as a whole, not only in terms of training

Background

This project was born from the natural consequence of the deep conviction that good practices should be shared as much as possible and used to create new experiences to further develop innovation in education and training. It found its roots and origin in previous experiences that can be considered an authentic good practice, always involving the Novia University in Turku (Aboa Mare). The previous experiences allowed to share ideas and experiment new teaching solutions and have been recognized as a real wealth for enhancing the cultural and technical competences of ITTL "San Giorgio" students; this project involved Axxell (which cooperates with Novia University) for the first time and is going to take the best of the previous experiences and introduce chances for new challenges and further improvement of the relationship between the two schools.
