The goals we have aimed at are strongly linked to each other: "Digital Transformation": use of technology in all learning and professionalisation processes, "Adapting vocational education and training to the needs of the labor market" and " Increase the attractiveness of VET by innovating the training offer by enriching it with good practices, adopting new methodologies and tools". We have implemented the student curriculum, provided teachers and schools with new knowledge, experiences and educational resources that we are integrating immediately into the curricular activities. We have improved personal skills such as intercultural and language skills. We used ICT and digital technologies to connect our professional cultures and environments and to disseminate the project work. Those who participated to mobilities acquired professional skills which they shared with those who remained at school but who nevertheless understood the importance of such projects to facilitate their entry into society and into the world of work at an international level according to the standards required by a increasingly specialized market.
ITC Chironi is a secondary school whose aim is to transmit to students a professionalism that finds an outlet in complex production realities both from a technological point of view and from a work organization point of view. The School is divided into: - ADMINISTRATION, FINANCE AND MARKETING for: 1) Management, Sport and Wellness; 2) International Relations for Marketing 3) Information Systems. 4) AVIATION, TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS for: A) Aircraft structure and mechanics; B) Aircraft operation (Pilots). This VET project focused particularly on courses in the aeronautical sector, but the impact and involvement involved the entire institute. The students involved in the mobility, aged between 15 and 19, needed to acquire technological-digital, economic, social and linguistic skills (microlanguage and ICAO Level 4) in order to remove the obstacles to professional mobility. The students needed a training opportunity abroad, even long-term, to learn about the opportunities for professionalization beyond the borders of our island and to acquire a European dimension of workers and citizens.
