The main objective of this project was the activation of new training methodologies in the field of art based on sharing the artistic creation process between trainers and trainees. ART4T contributed to the strengthening of European citizenship to promote an inclusive Europe, based on the green economy and digital transformation. - We trained 19 young European artists. - We developed an innovative and replicable teaching methodology. - We invited 19 young European artists to the BAM Biennale, activating contacts with the contemporary art market.
MeNO considers as its social mission the activation of relationships between local and international actors. In particular, training and artistic production are carried out with the involvement of international experts to ensure a diversity of visions and methodologies. The experiences have demonstrated the validity of this approach that has allowed students and young artists to expand their knowledge and experience. The Dramaturgy program at Aarhus University conveys to its students an international outlook and an awareness of the interdependence of aesthetic and ethical values in art-making and art-programming. Particularly in the field of contemporary art, the transnational dimension is an essential condition both from the training and the performative and productive point of view. Even the professional placement of young artists necessarily requires at least a European perspective. The nature and structure of the ART4T project also benefited from a European dimension through their relationship with the Biennale Arcipelago Mediterraneo BAM, which was an integral embodied part of a pedagogic approach that participants will be able to draw on in their future work and careers.
