Background

The project focuses on distance learning, a way of learning developed especially during the Pandemic. Many teachers were unprepared and only used transmissive teaching methods. In Abruzzo, a survey was conducted among high school students to evaluate DL. The results were not encouraging: about 40% were bored, 56% tired and only 30% adapted to DL. However, it was felt that the DL could be a valuable teaching and training tool to be used by placing the student at the centre of learning and considering the teacher as a guide. Students put their skills into play in active and dynamic contexts. A quality framework was developed for teachers and vocational school students to develop critical and digital thinking skills. The project used problem -solving, creativity, digital critical reading and debate, aiming at digital transformation and the development of key competences. The aim was also to enhance teachers' skills and evaluate the effects on the children, especially in terms of employability. The framework was developed in accordance with the QA principles.
