We wanted to achieve the following: Objective 1: acquire new knowledge and methods as regards the connection between environmental sustainability and art and creativity, towards more inclusive and innovative pedagogies, also to motivate the target groups. With the purpose to add the creativity dimension to the scientific-cultural matrix of knowledge related to environmental sustainability and climate change, fostering the grow-up of a holistic approach, in bringing together many disciplines, socio-economical dimensions; while also supporting trainers in developing new perspectives to societal/ personal challenges. Objective 2: increase the capacity to cooperate at international level in a mutual exchange, improving the competences of educators, other staff, towards new upskilling pathways. With the purpose of stimulating the participants in confronting with other contexts, in EU, where original good practices have been implemented, motivating them trough the feeling of being part of a broader thriving community, based on shared values. Objective 3: Reinforce synergies and transitions between private and public sectors, non-formal education, labor market and entrepreneurship
Ten for Sustainability provides to citizens, communities, institutions, companies and others training and information activities, communication strategies, to help raise awareness on current and future challenges posed by changing climate as well as possible initiatives to mitigate or adapt to them both at local/national as well as international levels, with the conviction that the quality of the strategical planning, along with provisions to target groups can only be achieved through a continuing effort to equip the staff members and volunteers with up-to-date skills and knowledge, for instance exploring good practices implemented elsewhere in EU. The integration within existing/ future activities of said good practices: -will help improve the quality of training provisions through the acquisition of methodologies and contents favoring the involvement of learners also emotionally; -will help overcome barriers (e.g. lack of motivation or confidence towards lifelong learning, etc.) preventing the participation of individuals from targeted groups in training. Likewise, good practices related to the connection between environmental sustainability and art/creativity have been identified as highly relevant.
