To respond to the need to offer as many learners as possible the opportunity to develop their skills in stimulating and innovative learning contexts, Reattiva - through the D.E.A project - has strengthened its EUROPEAN DIMENSION, implementing and diversifying the opportunities for international mobility aimed at both adult learners and internal teaching and staff, with the aim of: - enhance the basic and digital skills of adult learners who, due to a disadvantaged situation resulting from social, linguistic-cultural and economic conditions, do not possess an adequate mastery of the key competences for lifelong learning; - develop digital and inclusive skills of its staff, to respond more effectively to the needs of disadvantaged adult learners who need support interventions to avoid processes of rapid skills obsolescence.
The D.E.A project - Digital Empowerment in Action! responded to the need to innovate and diversify learning paths for the adult population which, as highlighted by the OECD-EU 2020 survey carried out within the PIAAC Programme, appears to be a particularly disadvantaged target in terms of skills in literacy domains (literacy skills) and numeracy (mathematical skills) in technologically advanced environments. Furthermore, according to Eurostat 2020 data, adults with low education or income levels continue to be at risk of digital exclusion, while the number of people with low digital skills increases with age. The situation in the Molise region, where Reattiva promoter of the D.E.A project is based, is also aggravated by the persistence - in the adult population - of low levels of qualifications and educational qualifications, which corresponds to the limited basic skills, especially the digital ones.
