The project pursued the following objectives: - promote an environmental culture that allows young people to be protagonists of their future through a path of growth and active participation in the life of their community; - encourage the use of digital resources to promote digital skills and digital literacy; - guarantee to students with fewer opportunities to participate in the project school and mobility activities and develop teaching experiences with non-formal education methods; - improve students' language skills and encourage them to learn foreign languages; - share and disseminate the results of the project in order to make it usable by other subjects.
Thanks to this project, our school aimed, first of all, to develop the internationalization process started with previous projects, improve the services offered and strengthen its European dimension by addressing the issue of the environment, whose protection is a legacy for the future of the Earth. At the same time, we wanted to improve European language learning and digital skills, promoting attitudes of active citizenship and a culture of respect for the environment, resource preservation and recycling, to ensure a sustainable future for young people at local and transnational level. We also wanted to guarantee the participation in the mobility of students with fewer opportunities and learn to involve them at school using non-formal education methods, with the aim of making it easier for them to participate in school activities. Through the training courses our teachers have acquired or improved skills (CLIL, Etwinning) and learned methodologies useful to ensure the impact of European projects and the dissemination of results.
