Objectives

The development of inclusive pedagogy through the arts for the well-being of all students. The artistic experience as a vehicle of inclusion capable of generating substantial changes. The acquisition of innovative methodologies and new teaching and disciplinary skills: acquiring new knowledge to enrich and enhance one's own abilities and foster personal development. The implementation of a vertical artistic curriculum from an interdisciplinary perspective:engaging in music and the arts from early years in a laboratory format, cultivating a receptive attitude towards self and one's emotions. fostering self-awareness and emotional expression. The promotion of cultural exchanges within a framework of international cooperation: "Changing place, changing time, changing thoughts, changing future." Field observations provide the opportunity to deal with extremely diverse realities, and sharing best practices always contributes to the growth of one's cultural background.

Background

In our I.C., the need was felt this year to modify and improve the teaching methodologies in use in order to open up to new educational approaches. Distance learning has highlighted the shortcomings of a school system that is still too frontal and transmission-oriented, which is now inadequate for the growth and development of European citizenship skills. Consequently, we have initiated a critical examination of various teaching and learning methods to evaluate their effectiveness. Particularly in the context of artistic disciplines, it has become evident that acquiring new disciplinary and organizational skills is essential to engage with diverse realities and foster a learning-by-doing approach. Furthermore, there is an increasing urgency to establish connections with educational institutions in other European countries that make greater use of the artistic disciplines within their school curriculum in an inclusive vision, integrating them interdisciplinarily with the other subjects of study.
