The objectives that our school intended to pursue through this project proposal were: to increase the level of knowledge of foreign languages and maintain the international potential of the school, to promote a effective and innovative inclusive teaching. Systematic monitoring shows that many teachers feel the need to improve or enhance their knowledge of the foreign language in order to continue participating in European project initiatives and proposals. The growing number of disabled pupils entering our school requires changes in the organization of classes and educational-didactic paths. The main objective was to allow all pupils to experience the school environment peacefully, experience educational success through the structuring of effective and inclusive learning paths. Furthermore, it was intended to introduce new forms of teaching, overcoming traditional working methods and tools, favoring the search for creative methods, innovative solutions through comparison with European schools that have methodological approaches aimed at innovation.
Our school is recognized as a person-first learning agency. It aims to achieve the harmonious and integral development of students according to the principles of the Italian Constitution and the European cultural tradition. It promotes academic success and well-being by overcoming forms of disadvantage and lack of integration of school pupils; promotes inclusion; adopts initiatives for full school success by acting against demotivation/school dropout. Adopt effective student reception actions; carries out an effective didactic action with a view to innovation. The Gragnano 2 "Oreste Lizzadri" State Education Department is made up of various buildings located in contiguous areas of the city, but different in terms of geographical conformation and social structure. From surveys carried out on the socio-economic context, a non-homogeneous picture emerges, often different from class to class. The school represents for families a solid context of growth, discussion and collaboration. The school offers experiences curricular and extra-curricular, strengthening activities and individualized and personalized interventions.
