The academic year 21-22, year in which ABAVE used the funds from the 2021 call, was much more positive than the previous one, which was still affected by the presence of the pandemic. Thus, the main intention was to try to regain lost normality. Compared to the previous year, outgoing and incoming mobilities increased again, with 19 outgoing and 25 incoming students, 7 outgoing staff mobilities and 38 incoming staff and lecturers. The new Director, Prof. Riccardo Caldura, has been very sensitive to internationalisation issues, and thanks to his commitment, Dr Irene Scarpa works permanently and is now dealing full time with all instances concerning the Erasmus project. The training period in the previous academic year, carried on by Dr Paola De Rossi, proved to be very productive, with Dr Scarpa quickly and fully integrating herself into every area related to the programme. On the other hand, the new Erasmus programme, although presenting important novelties and some simplifications, has brought an increase in workload, and this led to request to hire an additional employee, which hopefully will happen soon.
