The adhesion of the University of Eastern Piedmont to the Erasmus+ programme, with particular attention to the Call KA131, is part of the mission of the University's 2019-2024 Strategic Plan, which identifies among its strategic objectives innovation and internationalisation of teaching. In order to achieve this fundamental aim, the University has submitted to the MUR a Three-Year Programme 2021-2023 (PRO3) entitled "UPO for the Next Generation: international, digitised, innovative". This project consists of two objectives: 1. to be protagonists of an international dimension, 2. to invest in the future of young researchers and university staff. UPO has set the task of implementing various measures and the adhesion to Call KA131 has become even more strategic in order to increase mobilities, the number of incoming international students, the development of international teaching through the increase in incoming Visiting Professors and in the number of foreign language lectures. UPO, adhering to Call KA131, carried out activities aimed at increasing number of mobilities, reviewing existing agreements, raising awareness among teaching staff in order to develop new networks to secure new locations for mobility.
