The project was designed to achieve several results, all coherent with the goals and the priorities of the internationalization policy of the University of Siena. * The main result was, of course, the mobility of individuals, both students and staff, both incoming and outgoing. * Infact mobility implementation is a strong and consolidated tradition in which the University of Siena strongly believes and invests resources on. * Another expected result, related to the above mentioned one, was that of strenghtening the collaborations with other European Universities. This result was also aiming to lay the foundations for further collaborations within the Erasmus Programme. * Moreover the implementation of the project aimed at connecting the University of Siena to the local context as the organization of mobility, with special regard to the incoming flows, is a facilitator for dialogue with other local institutions and with the whole citizenship to face common challenges on the territory. * In the end the activities which the project implementation implied were meant to upgrade the University of Siena’s services and resources, both human and IT related without forgetting the good staff training opportunities offerd to the mobility participants.
