The University of Palermo, in continuity with the Strategic Plan for internationalization and previous Projects, through careful monitoring of inter-institutional agreements, works to increase the number of mobility places, guaranteeing a vast possibility of choice in the educational offer abroad to improve the attractiveness and strengthen the European and international dimension of the training and research fields. * * The university also uses international mobility as a driving force for the development of European universities for the implementation of this new model of higher education. To achieve the set objectives, standard mobility is also combined with a virtual component, an experience that has borne fruit during the pandemic years, representing a resource and not a limit. A concrete example of this University commitment is the Digital Academy, an online platform for virtual mobility that offers online courses, international exchange activities, synchronous and blended teaching, and training for academics.
