In accordance with the EPS and the commitments made with the ECHE, the implementation of the project has been a successful means of increasing opportunities for study, work placements, teaching and training abroad, strengthening cooperation with partners and creating new ones, as well as widening the links between education, research and enterprise. Student and staff mobility, both inward and outward, as well as cooperation, are considered by UniBas to be the cornerstone for the personal fulfilment and growth of the university community, to stimulate active citizenship, increase the international dimension of the university and the territory, promote diversity, equity and social inclusion, stimulate and develop relevant lifelong knowledge, skills and transversal competences, as well as respond to the current and future needs of the labour market. In line with these principles, the UniBas has significantly increased the number of Erasmus inter-institutional agreements with EU and non-EU partner (232 in total), collaborations with research centres, companies, prestigious planning and design studios for training students and staff, as well as additional university cooperation agreements with EU and non-EU countries (130 in total).
