The Project aimed at increasing the international dimension of learning and training, teaching and research of the University in compliance with the principles specified within the ECHE and the EPS. * It achieved the following objectives: * - strengthened the international dimension with qualified and innovative mobility initiatives (i.e. blended, short-term mobilities BIP and EUniWell Alliance), and promoted the digitalisation process along with the networking with partner universities; * - activated and monitored the double/multiple/joint degree agreements; * - enhanced and increased the educational offerings in foreign languages as well as the international study programs (https://www.unifi.it/vp-11378-corsi-di-laurea-internazionali.html); * - encouraged the mobility of students, also at PhD level, and staff - in particular the administrative staff - to increase their linguistic and pedagogical skills, as well as the exchange of good practices; * - implemented actions to increase the number of recognized ECTS credits for the BA’s and MA’s students; * - organised Welcome Days, both at central and at Schools level, and adopted of a Buddy system for incoming students managed by multicultural and multilingual mentors.
