Internationalisation, modernisation and innovation are fundamental points of the University's strategy and are an essential part of its statute. In fact, the University of Rome "Foro Italico" "recognizes itself in the inspiring principles of the new European University outlined by the Lisbon Strategy and is committed to pursuing its objectives and, specifically, to making lifelong learning and mobility a reality; to pursue internationalisation as a strategic objective in line with the commitments made under the Bologna Process; to improve the quality and effectiveness of education; to promote equity, social cohesion and active citizenship; and to encourage creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship at all levels of higher education". The University of Rome “Foro Italico” is the only Italian and one of the few European vocational universities entirely devoted to sport and movement sciences with a wide focus on internationalization. In the last years, this institution signed almost 85 bilateral agreements with faculties/department concerning Sport and Movement Sciences, Sport Management, Rehabilitation and Health.
