The National Hei Consortium was established in 2014 with the aim of providing greater opportunities and improving the socio-economic conditions of young people. The completion of an internship significantly facilitates the integration of young individuals into the job market, contributing to a containment of emigration, which is a consequence of the increasing shortage of human capital in the country. The objectives of the Consortium are as follows: 1. Encourage, through mobility opportunities, cooperation between education, private entities, social partners, and businesses at both national and transnational levels to achieve high-quality learning outcomes. A network has been established among these sectors to develop high-quality educational paths and enhance the competitiveness of students entering the job market. 2. Provide internship programs aimed at developing skills for new professional fields and roles. 3. Work towards the recognition of learning outcomes and qualifications. 4. Promote the importance and impact of student mobility. 5. Acknowledge the skills acquired during the period of mobility abroad.
