The Accademia Nazionale di Danza di Roma aimed to explore, research and reflect on the resemblances, distinctions and on the relationship between different artistic environments. Our institution was eager to explore dance and music forms within Europe and beyond it, the changes occurred during centuries of continuous relations between the different cultures set around its perimeter able to absorb and elaborate the past and the present through the art of dance. As a National Dance Academy, we looked forward to share and learn to extend and revise the understanding of dance and music in correlation with different cultural backgrounds.
