Call 2021 was the V round running the Erasmus Plus Program for Accademia Abadir. The Pandemic was on its way to being overcome and the people started to rethink mobility as a great opportunity to increase their own personal and professional development and the prestige of the Academy itself. Strengthening our international partnerships and the role in the program, promoting the Erasmus Program, cultural diversity and European citizenship were our main purposes. According to scientific research, spending a period abroad increases, moreover, the attractiveness of candidates in the job market, this is why Accademia Abadir has strongly supported the Erasmus programme and pushed students to spend a semester in a foreign university. At the same time, Accademia Abadir pushed staff and faculty to go to know partner's institutions to strengthen relationships, promote international activities, receive significant boosts and share best practices. The enriching results are reflected in the local context, as well. Talking about the gap between Sicily and the rest of Europe, we are aware how each single effort counts in terms of positive impact on the local community.
