Since its foundation, the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria has been committed to playing a central role in the ethical, civil, cultural, economic and sustainable development of Calabria, the country and Europe. In this regard, internationalisation, and in particular the Erasmus Programme, has always represented a priority line of action for the University in the context of growth policies, due to the repercussions in terms of improvement of quality, innovation and development resulting from transnational collaboration and mobility. Participation in the project makes it possible to diversify and enrich the University’s educational offering through courses available at partner universities, from which important stimuli emerge for improving the quality of teaching. In this regard, mobility experiences for teaching staff play a decisive role for the modernization of programs and for the improvement of teachers’ linguistic and pedagogical skills; the stimulus was also given to technical and administrative staff who managed to interface with other realities that have encouraged linguistic and methodological growth.
