Objectives

Trends in adult education show the need to reduce training days and optimize the resources used in training. To date, HBN and Diciannovesettanta mainly organize and conduct face-to-face training courses for adults. They require renting classrooms, paying teachers' fees, organizing the placement of those who wish and investing financial and human resources. We would like to streamline and modernize the process, while strengthening the capacity of companies and creating fruitful international partnerships. Forming the idea of project activity planning proceeded from the specific needs of organizations and learners: developing digital skills for adults with the practical application of the requirements of the EU Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of personal data, national legislation in both countries and modernization of the training courses provided so far (such as methods and contents). The planning of this project aims to generate positive and lasting impacts on the participating partner organisations, the specific people involved in its implementation.

Background

The three partner companies are small in size. To finance such an enterprise with your own funds, it will take years, and the program is needed today and will come into use immediately after its creation. Furthermore, we believe that the exchange of good practices, ideas and working models in different European countries will contribute to a better content of the training programme. The new conditions we live in in recent months have shown people how important digital skills are. To implement them safely and securely, we believe our new training program will also help. Statistics on abuses related to the "leakage" of sensitive personal data in the European Union show that countries like Bulgaria and Italy still have a lot to learn about information security. In addition to the training courses themselves, further information materials will be created on the project website. A freely available information guide will provide guidelines for ensuring safe working in an online environment in simple steps and explain the risks of misusing personal data.
