The project's objectives are: To increase awareness of the importance of European cultural heritage as a vehicle for social inclusion, a driver of employment, and economic growth; To promote new participatory and inclusive approaches for the enjoyment and enhancement of heritage linked to European routes, also through the use of ICT and the promotion of self-entrepreneurship skills; To promote intercultural dialogue and the internationalization of educational offerings. ENRICH-EU reflects a deep commitment to enhancing European cultural heritage as a means of social inclusion, innovation, and intercultural dialogue, aiming to transform not only education but also individuals' perception and interaction with their rich cultural heritage.
ENRICH-EU was created to address the needs for diversity, education, economic development, social inclusion, and technological innovation. Throughout the project, we committed to the goal of enhancing and spreading awareness of European cultural diversity, tackling the challenges of growing isolationism and polarization. The project provided a significant educational platform for developing European citizenship, strengthening the sense of belonging and common identity among young people and adults. This was particularly relevant in an era marked by rapid changes and global challenges. Social inclusion was another key objective of the project, aiming to create a more equitable and cohesive society. The introduction of ICT tools facilitated access to and enjoyment of cultural heritage, making it more accessible and interesting for the young people involved, thereby meeting the need for a more modern approach to culture. Joining ENRICH-EU was an important step for all partners to access funding that supports cultural, educational, and entrepreneurial activities, thus contributing to the long-term sustainability of our initiatives.
