What I wanted to achieve with this project was that the students were able to get out of what is called their "comfort zone" trying to overcome their mental boundaries by doing activities that in their daily life they would not do. Furthermore, the project was based on the link between sport and disability and therefore thy would have put together a category they already know as sport with something unknown. Feelings like adrenaline, fear, desire for discovery and to get involved in beautiful experiences were our main goals.
The aims of this project were many: first of all, the students were able to practice English for daily conversation and since the Partner countries were not English-speaking, they had the possibility to use the language in any context; then, the second goal was to open the students' minds and introduce them to different countries, school systems and politics different from the ones they are used to. Last but not the least, letting the students make friends and enjoy this wonderful experience together.
