The ICE Project - Informal Civic Education - aimed to respond to the need to recreate "learning communities for adults" on Civic practices and themes. After the Pandemic isolation, the demand for both sociality and learning on issues of health, legality, participation and the environment has increased. The grassroots associations, public housing and the cultural places for adults located throughout the Partners' territory in Italy, Spain, Austria, Cyprus and Germany, are historical meeting places of learning centers united by the themes of legality, social inclusion and democratic growth. Some of these centers have been places for meetings and innovative learning on civic issues with a Service Learning approach, education useful to the community. The ICE Project has thus enhanced adult training centers by promoting new activities, in terms of content and methods to be used. Each Partner has adapted learning paths on civic issues to its adult audience by introducing participatory methods to bring generations together using informal, innovative and inclusive attractive activities.
