General Objective: - To develop and promote the education of women in STEM disciplines Specific objectives: - To increase women's skills in data science; - To introduce data science curricula in European universities in socially - To introduce data science curricula in European universities in social and female-dominated fields of study.
We decided to apply for this project in order to address the gender gap in the field of data science is crucial for promoting diversity and inclusivity in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) disciplines, particularly within the realms of humanities and social sciences where female representation tends to be higher. By integrating initiatives that encourage the development of data science skills into these domains, we can not only empower women to explore and excel in traditionally male-dominated fields but also foster a more equitable and balanced workforce. This approach not only benefits individuals by providing them with valuable skills for the future job market but also contributes to breaking down barriers and stereotypes that hinder the full participation of women in STEM fields. Through targeted programs and support systems, we can create opportunities for women to thrive in data science, ultimately leading to greater innovation, creativity, and societal progress.
