Objectives

The following are the key goals that the TUNED project aimed to achieve: 1.Develop a robust pedagogical framework focused on SRL and collaborative learning in digital and blended environments. 2.Create and launch a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) to train educators in implementing SRL strategies effectively, ensuring accessibility and support across multiple languages. 3.Design an engaging serious game that simulates real-life teaching scenarios, enabling educators to practice and refine their skills in a safe, interactive environment. 4.Provide clear, practical guidelines to help other higher education institutions and educators replicate and sustain the TUNED approach

Background

The TUNED project was launched to address a growing need among educators, particularly in higher education, to identify novel pedagogical strategies capable of meeting the needs of today’s educators and learners. We are aware that the increasing reliance on digital and blended learning makes educators face additional challenges to foster motivation, collaboration, and autonomy among students and other learners. Therefore, this project sought to equip educators with some practical tools and strategies to enhance the novel pedagogical approach known as Self-regulated Learning (SRL).
