The youth exchange “@ctive dialogue on the EU sustainable environmental Future – eFutur@” addressed and explored through the thematic programmed activities that focused attention on Circular Economy, environmental protection and the fight against consumption and waste that is increasingly recorded in European society, with particular attention to the defence of Local cultural and natural heritage in a sustainable way. In line with the goals set by the UN 2030 Agenda, the need from which this project arises is focused on the fact that in recent years there has been a spread of greater awareness in the new generations of the culture of waste reduction, reuse and recycling, however it is necessary to promote awareness and education activities through the creation of specific moments of non-formal education that guide young people towards a path aimed at acquiring an attitude of responsibility and respect towards the natural environment and making them aware of the value of Circular economy. The objectives in line with the permanent and annual priorities of the new Erasmus Plus program 2021 - 2017 focused on the need to: - Raise awareness among young people to develop a basic culture of sustainable development to facilitate socially responsible behaviour towards green mobility, reduction of waste, eco-Friendly attitude while at the same time promoting its protection and redevelopment in the event of degradation. - Promote the concepts of reuse and recycling to the young generations, who often fail to conceive this vision of recycling due to their existence in a consumerist era, having resources available that exceed their needs, sometimes they consider them inexhaustible. Raise awareness of the problem of shortage of natural resources. - Reflect on how much everyone's actions affect the surrounding environment. Participate in one's ecological initiatives and share beliefs and knowledge by correcting, if necessary, incorrect behaviour. - Implement behaviour appropriate to the sustainability of the planet and the development of solidarity activities in the territory. - Develop cooperation between participants belonging to ethnic groups who face different everyday realities, to allow young people to assume attitudes respectful of the other, in a perspective of intercultural dialogue, in full respect for the habits and customs of others, stimulating solidarity, mutual respect and collaboration overcoming stereotypes and prejudices. - Propose informal and non-formal learning possibilities with a European dimension and create innovative initiatives in the field of active citizenship. - Promote European youth mobility and support participation in Volunteer programs also in the environmental field, through the Erasmus Plus Program and its actions.
