Objectives

Outline and Objectives of Our Project It is an undeniable fact that environmental conditions have deteriorated rapidly in recent times and pose a serious problem for the future of the world. Environmental problems such as depletion of natural resources, environmental pollution, global warming and melting of glaciers continue to pose a great threat to the world. The deterioration of the ecological environment brings with it many natural events. Tsunamis, storms, hurricanes, floods and many other adverse natural events began to increase all over the world. The science of ecology examines this situation and determines what measures should be taken. In line with this information, ecology can be briefly defined as natural balance. What we aimed to achieve with this project, which we designed to protect the balance of nature and the future of our world, within the scope of ecological literacy, and where we wanted young people to get to know nature more closely. The consequences that await people who do not understand that they are part of the ecological order and therefore destroy nature, point to extinction. Other living things in nature owe their existence to making nature sustainable. No animal can survive such occasions as the extinction of another species, the destruction of green spaces, the shrinking of the habitats of other creatures. It benefits from nature to the extent that it maintains its own life and continues its life in a way that is respectful to nature. What about HUMAN? However, human beings tend to destroy nature and accelerate global warming by disrupting the balance of the atmosphere with an extremely unacceptable approach. They cause the destruction of other living things, the destruction of habitats and green areas, the rapid depletion of natural resources and the deterioration of the ecological balance. The right to the environment, which is also defined among the third generation rights, can be summarized as "the right to have a healthy environment and to protect and develop environmental values". Despite the fact that 33 years have passed since the Stockholm Conference and many scientific conferences on environmental problems, calls for sensitivity, more than 200 international agreements, sanctions against those violating the right to the environment, environmentally friendly technologies and sustainable development thesis, deterioration in the ecological environment, poverty, hunger, increases with problems such as pollution and global warming. The environmental differences between developed and developing countries continue to become clearer day by day. Still, despite all international initiatives and multilateral agreements, environmental problems continue to threaten the future of humanity, and environmental degradation continues to be the primary agenda item in the world with the deterioration of ecological balance. Environmental problems such as unplanned urbanization, thermal power plants, base stations, cyanide gold mining, insufficient green space, industrial waste, soil, air and water pollution caused by industrialization and energy production are increasing. The insensitivity of the legislative, executive and judicial powers, which are responsible for the solution of problems and the protection of natural, historical and cultural values, continues. In addition, the conflict process has had irreparable consequences such as burning villages, forest fires and the destruction of natural resources. In this context, we should state that our project wants to emphasize the mistake of seeing disasters arising from all these reasons as a very distant possibility, even though they are known by people. People pretend to forget that they are part of nature. This makes every pillage unimportant and causes people to see every right on nature as their own and to see themselves as superior to nature. Our project aimed to raise awareness of young people through youth raising awareness to eliminate these consequences, to develop a perspective on ecological literacy and to develop social awareness that will help them adopt a nature-friendly life. In this context, our goals are; * To learn concepts such as ecological balance and ecological literacy. * To get to know nature and all living creatures made of it. * It is to develop awareness of each element of nature, tree species, animal species and the factors that cause the deterioration of the ecological balance. While reaching these goals, we have also achieved our general goals such as supporting the personal development of young people, giving them a sense of volunteerism, and encouraging them to approach cultural differences with tolerance.
