The informal group “Cneu” feels involved in the environmental issue and actively promotes activities and behaviors aimed at respecting the environment and increasing the insufficient perception of urgency regarding environmental problems. The Erasmus+ represents a valid instrument for us to highlight this problem and discuss with the participants about it. Furthermore we share the objectives of the Erasmus+ programme and we wanted to address them in the project. The main objectives of “Listen to the ground” were: -Raise awareness about the data of the ecological problem and its impact. -Develop empathy towards others as a tool for better understanding of the world around ourselves and our impact. -Improve digital and IT skills to promote the European digital transition. -Improve intercultural communication through the use of English. -Develop critical thinking in order to achieve freedom of thought, freedom of expression and freedom of initiative. -Learn how to use information to be a responsible consumer. -Improve the quality of youth work, nationally and internationally. -Build a solid network for future cooperation under the Erasmus+. -Incentivize cooperation and involvement of youth in politics and in social issues. -Raise awareness of the importance of participation in social issues. -Cultivate competences that are valuable for professional and personal development. -Exchange socially and culturally with groups from other countries that represent different cultures and different values in order to gain a broader perspective. The realization of a video by the participants (4 groups realized 4 videos) was the fil rouge that connects all the activities of the week and improves the digital and creative skills of the participants, giving the opportunity to reflect and discuss about the ecology. Sharing the videos with the local community gave us the opportunity to directly show the results of the project and the achievement of the participants. Moreover, with the realization of the exchange we wanted to have a positive local impact, improving tolerance and solidarity of the locals by sharing the values of the European Community and the opportunities of the Erasmus+ programme. We want to do our part in the European project, not just by benefiting from opportunities provided by other organizations, but also giving others the possibility to take part in something organized by us, thanks to the Erasmus+ funds. That’s why we created the organization “Flow”, to create a network and do Erasmus + projects, involving young europeans to help us.
