Objectives

The project “ACT RIGHT” is in line with the goals and priorities of the Erasmus + program by promoting intercultural dialogue between young people from different countries, active youth participation and inclusion trought the theme of culture and art. After we created an online survey about the cultural life in Europe fot youth aged 18-30 and we analysed it together with our partners, it was found that the choice of profession related to art and culture is a very low percentage. Infact, for every 100 respondents only 3 answer that they want to deal with art and music. In Europe and around the world, artists are less successful in the labor market. Various prejudices and stereotypes consider them bohemians, people who do not have basic moral values and ideals. This oppresses today's young people, who are willing to engage in art in its various forms, and thus they begin to lose confidence in themselves and neglect their creative skills and desires. With “ACT RIGHT” we will sensitive and restore faith in the participants and the target group of the youth mobility by implementing activities aimed at the needs of young people for cultural and artistic development, providing young people with the opportunity to understand how cultural diversity and belonging to a certain cultural and ethnic community reflects on the social and professional realization of young people; how to realize young people in the cultural sphere professionally. Participants will share good practices on the encouraging role of communities and institutions in building effective youth strategies and policies for social inclusion and their implementation in times of crisis in the arts, theater, dance and music related also to the Covid-19 Pandemic. As citizens of Europe, we need to show Europe as one and whole also through culture and art. One of the main goals is to revive the participants' self-belief and to focus on the statement that change depends on them. Building cooperation between young people with interests in all fields of art and building unity and tolerance between them in the context of intercultural understanding. Direct participants and the local community will get acquainted with the Erasmus + program and its opportunities offered to young people -The project aims to give young people a chance to perform on stage and streets open stages through the activities.
