Objectives

"SEA -Sharing European youth policies Around Europe" was a mobility project among youth workers, under Key Action 1 of the Erasmus Plus program, aimed at promoting debate on youth policies at the European level. The project was designed to foster knowledge building and exchange of best practices among youth workers on the topic through moments of discussion and debate involving youth workers, youth leaders, policy makers and young people. At the center of the debate was the exchange of good practices, actions and guidelines developed at the European level in the policy areas identified in the EU Youth Strategy. The main objective of the project was, in fact, to link youth work practice and youth policy through the exchange and sharing of good practices between different countries. The specific objectives of the project were as follows: - To promote quality youth work in Europe by harnessing synergies among all stakeholders and raising awareness among the levels involved; - To network ideas, objectives, good practices and successful experiences in youth policies, interventions and actions; - Analyze trends in policy orientations in different participating countries; - Compile the good practices presented and ideas that have emerged into a final publication that will be distributed across multiple levels and can be used in different contexts; - Encourage young people to become active citizens, protagonists of solidarity and positive change, encouraging their social and civic engagement; - Promote the Erasmus+ program, its benefits and impact on communities, fostering debate on the importance of non-formal education and the acquisition of soft skills.
