Objectives

"Bergolo Digitale" has started a process of social valorisation of art and culture as a tool for inclusion, growth and community pride through the use of digitization practices in cultural heritage works. The use of technologies in this area has contributed to their protection and transmission to future generations in the Alta Langa area and, specifically, in the municipalities of Bergolo, Castelletto Uzzone, Levice and San Giorgio Scarampi. The project, already started, was complemented by the implementation of a Training Course, open to youth workers from 8 states: Italy, Germany, Latvia, Greece, Spain, Bulgaria, Portugal and Poland. Objectives outlined and achieved: - An awareness-raising process related to the importance of artistic-cultural heritage and its preservation was initiated. - Cross-cultural exchange between participants and local communities, which has brought benefits in the area of heritage protection to both parties involved - Participants were made aware of the importance of digital platforms and the digitization process as a tool for heritage preservation - Participants were provided with heritage preservation skills, focusing on digitization and its adaptation to their local communities - Participants' skills in audiovisual production, specifically photos and videos, and social media promotion were improved. - 10 QR codes were printed and installed with information about the relevant artistic-cultural heritage in the Alta Langa municipalities involved in the project. - All the pieces of arts and the cultural sites in the Bergolo area were photographed and their details collected and archived. - Video interviews on the theme of the project were created with the authorities and the local community - Digital maps of art and cultural sites in the municipalities involved were created - The exchange of best practices in the preservation of artistic and cultural heritage between citizens of different countries present during the project took place, with particular reference to the use of methods of heir digitalisation - The knowledge learned during the project was shared by the participants with their sending organizations and disseminated in their home communities. - Once they went back to their own countries, the participants organized dissemination activities on the topic of artistic-cultural heritage preservation - cooperation among partner organizations in the project was strengthened. Participants had the opportunity to work in the field, collaborating with others from different backgrounds, thus becoming creators of positive cultural changes in a rural area, as the Alta Langa. In addition, participants learned digitization techniques that enabled the creation of a QR code system: such tools facilitated public access to the area's cultural heritage.
