SYEF aimed at promoting Youth Social Entrepreneurship by using digital media in combination with NFE methodology and practical learning among NGOs and young people. It focused on SE to create a community of Young People who can shape an inclusive world for future generations with the support of experienced YWs by exploiting the main youth communication. The following objectives were successfully achieved:- -to foster NGOs and youth workers methods in creating innovative social opportunities in labor and entrepreneurial field; -to experience Youth SE based on digital means as a way to create social change, inclusion and quality innovation on an intercultural environment; -to empower and provide young people with the tools to create and sustain a social intercultural digital-based entrepreneurship through non-formal education and experiential practice improving their creativity and innovation while also experiencing how to develop small projects by using digital channels.
SYEF was framed by a shared need analysis on local and EU contexts addressing youth conditions. The consortium shared experiences with the target groups agreeing that the market labor is causing economic and social instability affecting mainly young people and social sustainability. For this reason the project addressed the social challenges of youth employment and social sustainability affecting greatly young people. We decided to connect digital communication, which is not only ever more relevant in our days, but also the closest main form of communication for young people. SYEF has been a great step for youth work in providing tools and methods to support young people in being active and leading actors in a future and fair development by encouraging youth social entrepreneurship based on non formal education learning methods.
