Regarding to the context of our school, its necessities and its vision we wanted to improve intercultural project management skills of our teachers to expand it in order to internationalize our school. Active participating in different projects could educate our teachers in different spheres and help them to develop our students as open-minded European citizens providing them all range of European values and democracy basic and advanced knowledge. As well involving into the European schools network had to be achieved by even creating the possibility to communicate with colleagues from other European countries and strengthening intercultural communication skills. We were searching to able to plan and to realize planned project management activities. We were gaining to create an Erasmus+ team at school. Our pedagogical staff needed to increase self-awareness about cultural differences. Due to globality all over the world students of our Gymnasium represent different nationalities,so, we needed expanding our soft skills such as tolerance, knowledge about other cultures as well as getting new experinces with other nations' representatives. Possibility to improve foreign language skills was very important for us as well.
Before the project's providing our school did not have much experience in Erasmus+ projects' running. Only one project application was successful. By the analysis of the applications the lack of knowledge in the field of applications' preparing was revealed. Understanding that in addition with the understanding of the necessity of collaboration with schools in Europe, creating networking inspired us to look for the solution of the problem. We wanted to develop better Project management skills for teachers to use it in the way of project based learning. Having felt a lack of practice in use European experience in international context we hoped to gain the experience which could help us to improve initiating and organizing project activities, creating Erasmus project team at our school. We wanted to involve our learners to European integration and to develop European values helping spread it in our neighbour countries. As well we needed to encourage our teachers to participate in European projects and be involved in training on other topics and organizing European projects for Students and preparing to be a hosting organization in multicultural context. The gymnasium has been providing education for refugees from Ukraine.
