Objectives

1. To improve students' STEAM academic knowledge and practical skills and promote motivation to learn by helping to understand why STEAM sciences are needed. 2. To reduce the students’ exclusion.

Background

The school is experienced in implementing international projects. The need for continuity is obvious: a school that develops all general competences is visible in society, attractive when choosing a school for their children. The topic and goals of this project are very relevant for our school. The school faces challenges in improving academic achievement and subject knowledge in STEAM sciences, as well as ensuring cyber security, especially in this era of distance education. There is a number of students with different levels of special needs. Also students from emigration regularly return to the school. Often these students experience exclusion due to learning gaps, lack of motivation and low sociability and ability to adapt in a new environment. Therefore, this project is an excellent tool for overcoming school challenges. It's a general education school that conducts group and individual forms of education, organizing daily and distance education in grades 1-10. The school carries out training programs for primary education, individualized primary education, individualized basic education, and non-formal education for children. The school has a Primary Department in Traksėdžiai, providing kindergarten and pre-school edecation.
